These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User," "you," or "your") and Cardisan ("Cardisan," "Platform," "we," "us," or "our"). By accessing or using the Cardisan platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not access or use the Platform.
"Platform" means the Cardisan website, web application, APIs, and all related services operated by Cardisan for the purpose of AI-assisted tarot deck creation.
"Generated Content" means any images, text, files, or other creative outputs produced by the Platform's AI systems in response to User input.
"Credits" means the unit of consumption on the Platform required to perform generation, refinement, and export actions.
"Subscription" means a recurring payment plan granting the User access to Platform features and Credits at a defined tier level (Seeker, Artisan, or Atelier).
You must be at least eighteen (18) years of age to create an account on the Platform or use any Platform services. By using the Platform, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years old.
You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must notify Cardisan immediately if you become aware of any unauthorized use of your account.
When you use the Platform to generate content, you receive a license to use that Generated Content in accordance with the terms of your active subscription tier or purchase mode. This is a license grant, not a transfer of ownership.
The Platform makes no representation or guarantee regarding the copyright eligibility of any Generated Content. Copyrightability depends on the degree of human creative control and varies by jurisdiction. Users should consult with legal counsel for commercial reliance.
Grants non-exclusive rights for personal, non-commercial purposes only. You may print for personal use or share on personal social media, but you may not sell or commercially distribute the content.
Allows for the sale of products incorporating Generated Content up to a limit of 500 units per deck per calendar year. Ideal for small-scale independent creators.
Provides a worldwide license to sell and distribute products with no volume restrictions, including through wholesale and retail channels.

Users may not generate content that is illegal, depicts child sexual abuse (CSAM), promotes hate speech or violence, infringes on intellectual property, or creates non-consensual depictions of real persons.
Cardisan retains exclusive ownership of the Arcana Engine, Tarot Lexicon, and all proprietary algorithms. Users retain ownership of their original inputs and manual edits made to generated text.
THE PLATFORM AND ALL GENERATED CONTENT ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. Cardisan's total liability is limited to the fees paid by you in the twelve months preceding any claim.
Your data is protected with encryption at rest and in transit. We do not sell your personal data to third parties. For more details, please see our Privacy Policy.
You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cardisan reserves the right to terminate accounts for violations of these Terms, particularly regarding prohibited content.
Any disputes arising under these Terms will be resolved through binding arbitration on an individual basis, waiving the right to a jury trial or class action participation.
Cardisan reserves the right to modify these Terms. Material changes will be communicated via email at least 30 days before taking effect.
These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Cardisan. If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions stay in full effect.
